Q1. In one word, how would your best friend describe you, and how would you manager describe you?  

Best friend: Reliable
Manager: Grinder

Q2. Tell us about where you have come from and what has led you to Oxford. 

Born and raised in India, I took the initiative to move to Canada at the age of 17 to pursue Engineering. After I finished my undergraduate and graduate studies I ventured into Technology and Supply-Chain Management Consulting. Over the last 6 years, I have lived and worked in Canada, USA and Western Europe. I always wanted to pursue my MBA at an ecosystem like Oxford where ideas are cherished and meaningful impact is made.

Q3. What have you done to prepare yourself for the MBA?

I took Finance Courses over the summer on Wallstreet Prep. I also decided to switch departments at my workplace and immersed myself in a completely different role to the one I previously had so that I could step out of my comfort zone.

Q4. What do you hope to gain from completing your MBA?

To have a global perspective

Q5. What is the best advice you received before commencing your MBA?

Make some great friends and some lifelong memories

Q6. What part of the programme are you most looking forward to? 

Finance Lab, Asset Management Lab and Case Competitions

Q7. What do you think will be the most challenging part of the programme?

To be able to compete with the best in my class

Q8. How do you plan to take the learnings from the MBA to influence positive change?

I plan on leveraging the skills that I acquire from the MBA to initiate grassroot level change at my next workplace. Encouraging gender equality, diversity of race and viewpoints, and purpose driven work

Q9. Are there any sport teams, societies, or clubs you’re hoping to become a member of?

I am part of the Oxford Blues Squash Team and am looking forward to the squash season
